Chessdock (“we”, “our”, “us”) is a personalized chess training web app that turns your own game moments into puzzles. We’re committed to protecting your privacy while helping you improve.

  • Email address – for launch notifications, account access, and optional newsletters.
  • Chess platform credentials – Lichess or Chess.com username or API tokens (we do not store passwords)
  • Game data – Your chess games (in PGN format) imported from Lichess or Chess.com for puzzle generation
  • Generated puzzles – Positions and analysis created from your games
  • Usage data – anonymized data on how you use the site (via analytics tools like Plausible or Mixpanel).
  • Technical info – e.g. IP address, device/browser type, cookies, for security and sessions.
