1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using Chessdock, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the service.

2. What Chessdock provides

Chessdock is an online service that analyzes your own chess games (via Lichess or Chess.com) and turns key moments into personalized puzzles and training tools. Features may change over time as we improve the service.

3. User accounts

To access some features, you may need to create an account. You are responsible for keeping your login details secure. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or are used for abusive or fraudulent activity.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the service for illegal or abusive purposes
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, disrupt, or damage the platform
  • Impersonate others or provide false information

5. Subscriptions and refunds

Chessdock is a paid service. Access to the platform requires an active subscription, which may be billed monthly or annually depending on the plan you choose. Pricing and available features are listed on our website and may change over time.

We reserve the right to update our pricing and subscription plans at any time. Any changes will be communicated in advance via email or within the platform. If a price change applies to an existing subscription, you will be notified and given the option to cancel before your next billing cycle.

Payments are processed securely through Paddle, our payment provider. By subscribing, you agree to their Checkout Buyer Terms.

You may cancel your subscription at any time, and you will continue to have access until the end of your current billing period. We do not offer partial refunds for unused time.

If you're unsatisfied with the service, you may request a full refund within the first 7 days of your initial subscription. After that, all payments are final.

6. Intellectual property

All content on Chessdock, including branding, interface design, and generated puzzles, is the property of Chessdock or its licensors. You may not copy, modify, or reuse content without permission, except for personal, non-commercial use.

7. Disclaimer of warranty

Chessdock is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the service will be error-free, uninterrupted, or suitable for your specific chess goals.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Chessdock shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

9. Changes to the terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If changes are significant, we’ll notify users via email or on the website. Continuing to use the service means you accept the updated terms.

10. Termination

You can stop using Chessdock at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these terms or misuse the service.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Czech Republic. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of Prague, unless otherwise required by applicable law.
